From Product Drawings to Finished Goods,A Detailed Overview of Our CNC Machining Service Process

Rich doesn't just do CNC machining—we're the ones who bring your ideas to life. How do we turn your ideas into reality?

Let's break down the entire CNC machining process step by step.

Step 1: Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Quotation

A complete RFQ must include drawings, product quantities, and other relevant information. Drawings come in both 3D and 2D formats.

3D drawings are used to visualize product structure and facilitate subsequent CNC programming, primarily in STP, X_T, or Prt formats. 2D

drawings must include material specifications, surface treatment requirements, and dimensional tolerances, as these elements constitute

the cost components of a product.

Step 2: Design Review and DFM

Upon receiving a project, our engineers conduct a comprehensive review of the drawings. From a manufacturing perspective, we assess

the feasibility of the customer's design and evaluate whether all manufacturing elements required for CNC precision machining are

complete. Simultaneously, we provide structural optimization suggestions to the customer from a cost perspective.

Step 3: Production Scheduling

Our production department will develop a production plan based on the customer's delivery date and current production capacity. The sales

team will then communicate the delivery schedule to the customer.

Step 4: First Article Inspection, Routine Inspection, and Final Inspection

We will inspect and measure the first article. Production of bulk goods may only commence after confirmation of OK. QC will conduct

routine inspections every 2 hours and perform random sampling of products prior to shipment.

Step 5: Surface Treatment

Rich not only provides CNC machining services but also offers various surface treatments according to customer requirements, such as

sandblasting, anodizing, powder coating, electroplating, blackening, and more. We deliver one-stop CNC solutions for our clients.

Step 6: Final Inspection, Packaging, and Delivery

After FQC approval, the packaging department will arrange secure packaging to ensure products remain undamaged during transit. Once

packaged, the sales department will coordinate shipment.
